Fig Tree Bay

Fig Tree Bay, Protaras is one of Cyprus’s most famous beaches, known for its golden sand, crystal-clear shallow waters, and a small offshore islet. It is family-friendly, safe for swimming, and awarded Blue Flag status for cleanliness and facilities. The beach has sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, lifeguards, and a range of water sports including jet-skiing, parasailing, paddleboarding, and snorkeling. Green Bay

Green Bay, Protaras is a small, scenic beach cove with clear turquoise waters and a gentle sandy entry, perfect for swimming and families. It’s popular for snorkeling and diving, with underwater statues and abundant marine life, as well as watersports like wakeboarding and water skiing. What makes it particularly special is that Green Bay is a protected nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles. Between May and August, female turtles come ashore to lay eggs, and conservation efforts are in place to protect their nests. Visitors are encouraged to respect the marked nesting areas and avoid disturbing the turtles or hatchlings.
